Ahed Al Hendi appeared on Russia Today on Friday, September 30th to discuss the international response to the Syrian regimeâs continued attrocities. The United States and European Union have already sanctioned about a dozen and a half syrian regime members and have added to the list of those indicted. Al Hendi noted, that âAll the sanctions were applied on the Syrian regimeâs members and not the Syrian people.â Meanwhile, Syrian dissidents are calling for more sanctions on the regime. In response, the regime has misconstrued the desire of the dissidents, saying that they are calling for economic sanctions against the whole nation of Syria. Al Hendi corrected this misrepresentation. |
